How we rank
Our organic list is independent of advertising. A clinic with at least 5 verified reviews is ordered by its VD Score, a number from 0 to 10 built only from our own data. Here is exactly what goes into that score.

How reviews are weighted
- Recency: a review's weight halves every 18 months, so recent visits matter most.
- Verification: reviews with a confirmed email count fully; unconfirmed ones would count half (we don't publish them today).
- Quick ratings count half as much as full reviews.
- Fair start: every clinic's average is pulled gently towards 3.5 stars, as if it had three extra middling reviews. This stops one or two glowing (or angry) reviews from deciding the score.
English communication blends our own English check with patients' English ratings, half and half. Responsiveness is the share of reviews the clinic has replied to. Community is the share of reviewers who would recommend the clinic. Both count only from 5 reviews.
If a factor has no data yet, we leave it out and scale up the others. Missing data never counts as zero.
Not enough reviews yet
A clinic needs at least 5 verified reviews for a full score. Until then we show "Not enough reviews yet" and list clinics without a full score alphabetically, A–Z. This avoids presenting limited information as a meaningful ranking.
We initially identify clinics from public information showing that they offer services in English. Any Vilnius clinic that provides dental services in English may ask to be included. Contact us to request a listing or correct information.
When scores update
Scores are recalculated every night. A new or removed review shows up in the score the next morning.
Featured placements
Clinics may purchase one of the three spaces in the separate Featured section. The section is labelled, and its notice explains that the placement is paid. A Featured placement has zero effect on the clinic's VD Score or its position in the organic list. Until a paid placement is active, any temporary examples in that section are selected A–Z and are not labelled as paid.

You can also sort by cheapest published check-up price or alphabetically. The current sort is always shown above the list.
